Signature Coaching

Encourage Development and Increase Accountability

An exceptional coach not only helps you learn and improve, an exceptional coach helps you take great performance to new heights. That is why athletes retain coaches when they are learning and when they are at the top of their game.  Coaching can help an individual leverage their strengths and improve where needed.

Exceptional coaching requires a raft of skills: keen observation, clear communication, motivation and support, listening and some straight talk when necessary, to name just a few.  It is core to helping others succeed!

Delegates will learn to:

  • Use a framework for effective formal coaching meetings

  • Set the coaching agenda and establish a climate of trust

  • Motivate and support others through effective communication skills

  • Identify and jointly agree performance standards – what success looks like

  • Set effective goals for improvement

  • Create realistic and appropriate action plans

  • Give constructive feedback

  • Hold informal ‘quick coaching sessions’

  • Adapt their coaching approach to an individual’s experience and expertise
