Robert Anderson
Robert Anderson is the Head of Faculty for Africa & Middle East for Talent Mondial
Robert has over 20 years experience in HRD and has built a strong international business track record consulting to different industries across the African continent and the Middle East. His expertise lies in leading and facilitating strategic HR, HRD and change initiatives, successfully building and managing teams to bridge the gap between strategy plans, effective implementation and performance.
Prior to his work as a consultant, Robert had more than 25 years experience with a leading Pan-African Bank where he held various senior HRD Management positions. His last assignment with the bank was as Head of Learning and Development for the Africa Banking Group represented in 17 countries throughout the continent. In this role, Robert was responsible for the creation of the HRD Strategy including the establishment and resourcing of a training infrastructure across 5 regional training centres to serve the full range of training and development needs of the Banks within the group; the development and implementation of the Balanced Score Card philosophy throughout the group; the development and implementation of BSC linked performance management processes; the design and implementation of a multi-rater process to assess managers; the development and facilitation of leadership training designed to develop a common leadership culture.
Robert’s extensive experience is augmented by a BCOM (Industrial Psychology), a post graduate qualification in Adult education (PGCE). He is a Charted Associate of the Institute of Bankers SA (CAIB) and is a registered Educator with the South African Council of Educators (SACE).
