Peter Pattenden

Is a Consultant with over 30 years experience working in the people performance field with clients throughout the world.

 

His early career was in sales and sales management with the UK division of a Canadian multinational business. During his 12 years with the company he won numerous awards for leading his team's success. A natural communicator with a passion for delivering results, Peter left the company in 1985 and established his own performance consulting practice based in London – People Skills International.

 

The business flourished with major projects in the areas of Cultural Transformation, Leadership and Sales. As a licensee of Psychological Associates Peter led major “Dimensional” projects in the U.K, Continental Europe, India, Africa and Australia. In the late 90’s, having developed a successful company with a blue chip client list, Peter sold the business to an American consulting practice, a move that enabled him to expand his personal consulting interests.

 

Now a seasoned professional, Peter contributes to the work of Talent Mondial by using his considerable experience to lead implementation teams on international projects and to personally consult with CEOs and Senior Executives on people and performance issues.

 

As part of his work Peter maintains a network of consultants and facilitators throughout the world. When not on assignment Peter lives on the Indian Ocean Island of Mauritius. He travels extensively and continues his interest in polo, a sport he played internationally for 10 years.

In 2010 Peter and Ann Buzzotta partnered with Psychological Associates to design and implement a Leadership Development programme for Coles, a leading Australian retailer then undergoing a transformation programme. The project required the creation of a cultural change workshop and behavioural feedback tool for use in the development of 1,600 managers and the selection and training of a team of Australian based facilitators to implement the programme throughout the country over a period of 3 years. The resulting cultural transformation has become a corner stone of the Coles turnaround and the company’s success.

 

In 2013 he and Ann Buzzotta, partnering with Psychological Associates, were engaged for the design and implementation of a Global Leadership Development programme for Cummins, an international engineering company headquartered in the USA. The programme is intended to develop over 5,000 leaders worldwide in effective leadership behaviours. The programme has gone from strength to strength and continues to be implemented in the USA, South America, China, India, UK and many other countries supporting Cummins commitment to Building Success in Others.
